Happy Easter!

The kiddles woke up to baskets,


and immediately went at them:


And after covering every square inch of our carpet with that annoying green (and pink!) Easter grass, the kids went searching for eggs. It didn't take long before they were huntin' machines, finding them in the most unusual places.


But of course, searching for eggs taking all of your energy out. Therefore, one must sit and rest.... and search the contents of the eggs :)


It soon became apparent that my husband, err Easter Bunny!, was fond of candy this year. Sure, there were stickers, Princess jewelry, pretend insects, and other miscellaneous junk that you buy at the .99 cent store because you end up throwing it out almost immediately stuff in the eggs, but there was a whole lot of candy goin' on in our home.


And sugar rush's, might I add :)
