LLC; Another FUN water day!

Our Little Learners Club has morphed into a 'play club' lately and that's just fine with me...especially during the summer when kids just want to have fun and relax before school starts up again.

 

So, we had another water day, this time at Sarah's house. We had water bombs, bubbles, and squirt guns, among other things.

 

Water day was a hit. The kids had a blast!

LLC; Space Day!

This is one of my Jakey's last LLC's :( Sure, we've got a couple lined up this summer but after this, he starts Kindergarten. Super bittersweet. (As a side note, here was during our first LLC. CRAZY!)

 

So, I enjoyed this day with him (and his little sister of course). Mandy had a lot of little crafts planned, and we managed to get some done that day at the park, as well as some completed later that afternoon.

 

We finished off the morning with some playing and some space themed snacks.

Looking forward to more LLC days come summer!

LLC; Water day!

It was my turn to host LLC this month and since it's been sooo hot here lately, I decided a water theme would be a good idea. We had water guns, pools, water tables, umbrellas, lots of water toys, and us mama's got patio chairs... it was awesome :)

 

Oh, and lets not forget the Popsicles!

LLC; Book day!

Erica planned our last LLC day and she did a great job incorporating our book theme.

 

Each child got their own paint palette and paper to create their favorite scene from a book:

 

Megan was intent on the Picasso look:

 

while Jake opted for a 'Cars' theme:

And Millie, well... she decided that tasting her paint would be best, lol! :)

Then we went inside to do 'show and tell' with the kids favorite books:

In addition, each of us mama's brought a few books to donate. So we combined them all and traded, ending up with new-to-us books to take home :)

Finally, we finished the day with what else... food!

LLC; Forever Wild day :)

It was super nice weather during spring break so we decided to head to Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary to have a fun fieldtrip. We've gone a few times before but this was a first for Yo :)
